Proofreader Resume
Proofreaders are the quality control workers in publications as they make sure that the copy is free from errors and mistakes and ready to be published. They check the uniformity of format, spelling and style, pagination, headings and captions of photos and illustrations. They must be able to identify areas that need revisions and use proofreader marks. They may work from home as copies are sent electronically or they can be commissioned to work by contract after the presswork.
